⁴⁰ Now the time ^[a]that the sons of Israel had lived in Egypt was ^(A)430 years. ⁴¹ And at the end of 430 years, on ^(B)this very day, ^(C)all the ^[b]multitudes of the Lord departed from the land of Egypt.

^42 (D)It is a night ^[c]to be observed for the Lord, for having brought them out of the land of Egypt; this night is for the Lord, ^[d]to be observed by all the sons of Israel throughout their generations.
